Job Title: Project Manager

 

Position Summary:

 

As a Project Manager with B360 you will play an essential part for the overall implementation and success of our client’s projects, ranging from live events to studio installs.

 

You will work with the client from conception to completion, on all matters including site visits, budget control and risk management.

 

Using your knowledge of the electrical and lighting industry, you will be a presence on the day ensuring that all runs smoothly and to the client’s satisfaction and B360’s standards of excellence.

  

Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

 

As Project Manager, your role is to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget, that the project's objectives are met and that everyone else involved on the project is fulfilling their role.

 

You will lead the planning process, working with clients, specialists, consultants, and suppliers to identify requirements, develop budgets and organise the project from initial planning and set-up through to successful delivery.

 

Your role will include:

 

  • Act as Project Manager in all areas of delivering the project required for the client.
  • Project planning and development of associated project documentation – handling both rental enquires and full service productions through the issuing of quotations, or proposal documentation.
  • Engage, lead and motivate the project team. Keeping job files up to date and available for the whole team.
  • Effective risk management – producing Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) for your projects, keeping abreast of the company’s Health and Safety Policy and current industry regulations and best practice.
  • Report project progress as required to the Directors and wider team.
  • Project closure including the capture of lessons learned
  • Develop and progress long-term client relationships.
  • Attend client, site production meetings as required, and under own initiative.

 

 

Technical Responsibilities

 

  • Design working systems on CAD as necessary.
  • Become a key contact in the company.
  • Maintain H&S, the company professionalism, cleanliness and order whilst on site for projects.
  • Generally assisting with the day to day requirements of the company – this role will evolve as B360 evolves.

 

Qualifications/Required Skill:

 

  • High level of accuracy, with impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Teamwork and excellent communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of lighting and rigging equipment and current practices.
  • Ability to use Auto Cad (not essential - full training can be given).
  • Must have a UK driving licence.
  • Time Management.
  • Reliable and pressure resistant - Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, demonstrating resilience, flexibility and ability to maintain positive relationships.
  • Enthusiastic team member.
  • The ability to work within a team structure as well as independently. Able to maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with clients, customers, co-workers and management.
  • Able to present a professional image to clients and be an ambassador for B360 at all times.

 

Salary:

 

Dependent on Experience, with a company package.

Job Title: Warehouse Technician

 

Position Summary:

 

Our busy production house is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of a full time Warehouse Technician. The successful candidate will work within our warehouse based in Hemel Hempstead; on preparation and maintenance of equipment. The role will involve preparing orders, maintaining/testing equipment in our warehouse, checking equipment in and out, loading and unloading vehicles. Training and opportunities for growth within the company will be available to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn.   • To follow all company standards and procedures accurately ensuring all equipment is consistently prepared to our high standards.
  • Accurately prepare, check out and return equipment to and from projects.
  • Receive deliveries of equipment to the Warehouse, check and sign for them.
  • Maintenance of equipment (e.g. cleaning, function testing, repairing)
  • To follow and observe all company health and safety policies and procedures – this role involves heavy manual handling, including loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Ensure paperwork for orders and projects is completed and distributed as required.
  • Pack and load goods onto vehicles according to project requirements.
  • Be an outstanding representative for B360 whilst working in the warehouse.
  • Ensure that the work environment is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • This is not an extensive list of responsibilities – employees will be expected to undertake additional tasks – keeping inline with the general responsibilities as outlined above.

 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
