Generator

B360 can provide super silent diesel generators which are suitable for a wide range of uses where compact, silenced generators are required – such as outside broadcasting for live television events. Unbroken power supply is paramount for any live event. Our bespoke generator is designed to integrate seamlessly and deliver robust, continuous power within minutes of arriving on location. We are regular suppliers for Timeline working alongside BT Sports for their live broadcasts.

Our generator has been specifically designed for the outside broadcasting industry, running on full load at less than 55dB(A) at 7m. This means that you no longer need to have any concerns regarding generator positioning within the often, limited space available in the outside broadcasting environment.

Our generator has inbuilt twin engines utilising state of the art synchronising technology to generate and deliver power through a flexible and comprehensive distribution system. The two engines can run individually for rig days, and synchronised for the live broadcast. All this is backed up by large fuel tanks which enable seamless power supply for extended productions, they can run continually for multiple days.

We will work extensively with you through the planning stage, as well as the hire period to ensure that you receive seamless, high quality service, and fundamental to all things at B360, to ensure that the site power distribution is safe. Our generators are maintained by specialist engineers within a strict servicing and electrical testing criteria. On site, we will only provide specialist generator engineers, at no additional cost, who are highly experienced, 17th Edition, City and Guild qualified in Electrical Testing and Inspection. The electricians will install and certify all temporary electrical systems to meet both British Standards 7909:2011 and 7671:2011.

Throughout the pre-production we will work closely with you to be able to provide the necessary power, safely, no matter the size or complexity of the project. Careful planning at pre-production means the required phase balance and suitable circuit protection measures are in place to ensure that the system is safe and meets all necessary electrical certification. So that you get no surprises on the rig days.

Our Generator is provided as standard with a comprehensive cable package as well as four Astra Light Panels and highly experienced and knowledgeable Generator Engineers at no additional cost. 

Studio Installs

B360 has extensive knowledge and experience regarding the unique requirements of providing lighting and rigging for studio installs. Our team have collectively worked together on both small and large installs. Studio installs are unique from individual projects in that the lighting and rigging are required to moveable and dynamic, providing easily changeable light fittings and fixtures to provide a varied effect for a variety of shows. We also understand the need that these lighting systems at times will be required 24/7 so need to be of the most robust and reliable lighting, with a full backup system.

B360 will work closely with you whether you have a full detailed brief and drawings, or more commonly with studio installs, work with you the initial conception. We have a network of independent Lighting Designers, which means from the network we can select the Lighting Designer most suitable to help you meet your vision with their individual style. We will work closely with yourself to make your creative vision a reality. Studio Installs commonly come with a specific budget and we strive to achieve our design to meet your budget. Once the studio has been installed we can provide a comprehensive, cost effective maintenance program to ensure that you meet all the required safety laws – including regular PAT testing.

Maintenance

B360 has extensive knowledge and experience with providing on-going comprehensive, cost-effective maintenance to existing lighting and rigging systems. Unlike individual shows and projects, on-going maintenance requires extensive knowledge regarding meeting current health and safety regulations, specifically the need for regular electrical, lighting and rigging testing – namely to meet LOLER and LEEA standards, and PAT testing.

Depending on the size of the studio, and how extensively the studio is used, we can develop an on-going rolling maintenance programme, to ensure that all the equipment is regularly tested to meet all the legal criteria, without impacting on scheduled shows.

B360 can provide the labour for completing the testing, or act in a consultancy manner and advise you on the best way forwards to ensure you meeting all requirements. In certain circumstances B360 can also compile Policies and Procedures for the use of lighting and rigging systems within your studio.

Some of our current clients include provide maintenance to Timeline Ealing Studio, as well as providing a consultancy service to advise the required maintenance at BT Sports Studio.

Alongside maintenance, B360 also has an extensive network of lighting manufacturers, and repair facilities. This means that we can seamlessly and effectively provide repairs to faults that may arise in long standing lighting and rigging systems.

Live Events

B360 has extensive knowledge regarding the unique requirements of providing lighting and rigging for live events. Our team have collectively worked together on both small and large live events. Live events are unique from individual projects in that the lighting and rigging are required to be extremely reliable. Many live events also require an element of a moveable studio – for example at concerts where the presenter will regularly move locations throughout the event. B360 have extensive experience within this area and can advise you of the best way forward.

B360 have a large network of specialists within the lighting and rigging industry, so if you are not already working with a Lighting Designer, we can work with you to provide the ideal Lighting Designer, ensuring that their specific styles will meet your creative idea in the best possible way. Once the designs have been completed we will then take the hassle away from yourselves and source all the necessary kit required to make your creative design into reality. We can then progress this with organising the logistics, providing highly experienced specialists and crew,

to fully installing and programming your project, and the ongoing day to day maintenance required whilst the project is running,

to completing a full de-rig.
