At B360, we pride ourselves on bringing the latest technology to the broadcast industry, while ensuring that this technology is the most environmentally sustainable as possible. We've been using HVO since 2021 and Stage V engines since 2022, and we've now gone one step further by coupling this with a fully hybrid system of Stage V engines and batteries - backed up by solar panels! Even all our vans, trucks, and other vehicles run on HVO, helping to reduce our environmental footprint by up to 90% less CO2e, 86% less particulate matter, and 30% less nitrogen oxides released into the atmosphere.
All our generators are custom-designed and built with the broadcast industry in mind, which means that sustainability and noise levels are high priorities, with two engines running at just 57dB(A) at 7m, making our super silent twinsets suitable for all broadcast and location work, even in built-up areas. This means that you no longer have to worry about the location of the generator, which is particularly good when you consider how confined some areas or compounds are.
Our twinsets all have the latest electronic control systems, coupled with remote monitoring software, so you can be confident that if the engineer is not in the compound, they can still monitor the system safely. We use the latest Stage V engines and control systems to provide stable and reliable power that's flexible to your needs. Coupled with large onboard fuel tanks and the ability to connect to external fuel supplies, we are able to provide a seamless service, no matter how short or long the production.
Our in-house team has the knowledge and experience of working on some of the largest broadcast contracts, so you are in safe hands with B360. We will work with you extensively throughout the planning and hire period to ensure you receive a seamless, high-quality service and, fundamental to all things B360, to ensure the site's power supply is safe. Our generators are serviced by specialist engineers within a strict service and electrical testing criteria.

When on-site, our engineers don't just look after the generator; we can provide a fully managed electrical installation, no matter how small or large your event; from 1 OB van to an international OB compound or International Broadcast Centre, we have the knowledge, skills, and equipment to support you.
On-site, we only provide specialist generator engineers and electricians who are highly experienced, trained, and qualified. The electricians will install and certify all temporary electrical systems to both British Standards BS7909 and BS7671. This provides you with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your electrical installation meets the Regulations, and also provides you with the necessary Electrical Compliance documentation.
